Course Description

3 Aid Stations

The start is at Lander City Park at 405 Fremont St.

Begin with riding Hwy 131 towards Sinks Canyon to Mortimer Lane. From Mortimer, we will briefly head south on Hwy 287 before turning left onto Lyons Valley Road.  Enjoy the last of the tarmac, until we turn right onto the gravel at Coal Mine Road and follow it all the way to Hudson, WY.  Just out of town you’ll hit Aid Station 1.  This aid station will have water, drink mix and a few snacks.

Continue on to the next fully stocked Aid Station #2 at mile 36.5 (9 Mile Reservoir). Crew members are NOT ALLOWED to meet riders at this aid station. This is to avoid traffic passing the races. Please allow our aid station to provide your riders with snacks and hydration. Turnaround at this station and head back the way you came, stopping back in Hudson at Aid Station #3.


Aid Stations

Mile 20- Aid Station

Hudson, WY. Water, HEED, and snacks available. Oh, and BACON!. Crew members can meet you at this location. Riders may drop off lights/jackets other gear etc. Bathroom available.

Mile 36.5- Aid Station

9 Mile Reservoir. Fully stocked aid station. Crew members are NOT ALLOWED to meet riders at this aid station. This is to avoid traffic passing the racers.

Mile 55- Aid Station

Hudson, WY. Return to this station for more bacon before hitting the last miles back to the finish! Crew members can meet you at this location. Riders may drop off lights/jackets other gear etc. Bathroom available.


Mandatory Carry List:

Each participant must carry with them (on their body, or on their bike) every item on this list. You will not be allowed to start the race without these supplies!

  • Cycling computer and or cue sheets and map. The route is not marked

  • Helmet

  • Cell Phone

  • 2-3 Water Bottles and a hydration pack strongly recommended

  • Food-energy bars, gels, nuts, etc..

  • At least two spare inner tubes (patch kit recommended)

  • Air pump or inflation system.

  • SPOT tracker or Garmin inReach

  • A GPS system to communicate your exact location to support or rescue personnel in the event of an emergency.

  • Waterproof / windproof jacket

  • Extra thermal top or warm layer to wear if stopped
